What the hell happened last night? I got 2 hours of sleep. I went to bed early feeling great, but I ended up tossing and turning the whole night, only to fall asleep around 5am. This hurts really bad and I feel it through out my body. The only thing I can think of is that my diet has changed so much, I’ve been drinking so much water, and the pounding my body is taking has decided to fight back a bit.
I did some research on the Beachbody web site and there have been other cases of insomnia, lack of sleep and other sleep issues during the early stages of the workout. Your body is changing is the real X factor. So, I decided to go to Wegmans and get some Bedtime tea to help relax me at night. I bought a tea called Yogi Bedtime; this is an herbal remedy that had a lot of great reviews. I figured I would give this a try tonight and see what happens.
After purchasing the tea I fought through a really great chest and back workout. I really wish I had more energy, but I did the best I could. You can’t have it all, is what Pops says, but the X factor is hard to accomplish sometimes. I was pretty banged up for a few hours, but the recovery drink helped and my eating helped as well. We’ll just have to see how the night goes.
